Grid Code Compliance Study

In this study a relatively large power plant was modeled in order to demonstrate its compliance with the grid code of the hosting country. Emphasis was placed on the accurate modeling of the synchronous machines and its drive train.

Once the model was built and tested, a set of simulations ascertaining the compliance with the grid code was formulated and set up.

Simulations strongly indicated full compliance with the grid code requirements and excellent operation of the power plan in both normal and transient operating conditions.
