Simulation of a hydrogovernor

In this project a hydropower plant was modeled and simulated in an all-purpose power systems simulation software. Emphasis was placed on the implementation of a high-fidelity model of a hydrogovernor developed by the customer.

The implemented model was calibrated and validated against field measurements taken in various operating points. The validation showed adequate match between the model output and the field measurements.
